(Nasdaq: TZIX), today announced that Philip Tamminga is joining the company as executive vice president of professional services to lead and manage TriZetto's consulting operations as well as the company's expanding emphasis on strategic professional services partnerships.

Tamminga was most recently a senior partner at Accenture, leading the firm's global Siebel alliance and practice, comprised of 4,000 professionals. During his 24 years at Accenture, he has worked across numerous industries and clients, and led the development and management of third party relationships. Tamminga is also a recognized authority on customer relationship management (CRM) and was one of the founders of Accenture's CRM practice.
