The BlueCross and BlueShield Association's Inter-Plan Teleprocessing System (ITS) enables BCBS plans to cover services that their members receive outside the local, or Home, area. To facilitate this, TriZetto® offers the QNXT™ ITS Home interface software system. QNXT ITS Home integrates with the ITS processing software and leverages the TriZetto QNXT enterprise application system to enable seamless transmission of claims from one BCBS health plan to another.
The QNXT ITS Home system automates processing of the submission by the Host plan, application of the Home benefits, and reconciliation of the final payment. The use of standard policies, provisions and financial reimbursement eliminates the confusion and complexities of plan differences and delivers uniform benefits system-wide.
