Robert Wilhelm
Senior Vice President & President, Provider Markets
 Robert Wilhelm brings to TriZetto extensive leadership experience in the healthcare provider industry, having served in executive positions at Viracor Laboratories, LLC, and Cerner Corp. At TriZetto, Wilhelm is responsible for business development and sales in provider markets including hospitals (acute care), post-acute care, provider-owned health plans and Accountable Care Organizations (ACOs). This position was created to support TriZetto’s entry into the provider market in 2011 with the acquisition of Gateway EDI, a healthcare revenue cycle management company serving physician practices. As a vice president at Viracor, a reference laboratory providing molecular infectious disease and immunology testing services, Wilhelm was responsible for sales, marketing, scientific affairs and business development functions. He helped Viracor double its sales from 2007 to 2009. Before joining Viracor, Wilhelm served in a number of executive positions over a five-year period at Cerner, a global healthcare IT company focused on integrating information flow across the patient care continuum. At Cerner, Wilhelm was vice president and general manager, Cerner Lighthouse, and vice president and managing director, Cerner Asia Pacific. He also worked as Cerner’s director of finance and operations and as a business development manager. He also has worked at Booz Allen Hamilton, Financial Freedom, LLC, and KPMG. Wilhelm earned a Bachelor of Science degree in business administration, with a major in accounting, at Georgetown University, and a Master of Business Administration degree, with concentrations in strategic management, marketing and economics, at the University of Chicago.
